Can Vacation Max be trusted to sell my vacation properties and not scam me of the deposit that they are requiring?

Does anybody know anything about Vacation Max located in Wilmington, Delaware. This company is offering to sell my timeshare properties but is requiring a deposit (supposedly refundable at closing) of $2,500 for 2 properties.

We also have been contacted by Vacation Max and are very concerned that this is yet another scam and cannot be believed. Are there any reliable companies that work with owners to sell a timeshare? Who can be trusted and has anyone had positive dealings with a company that sells timeshares?/Mario & Dianne
